First FF game: FFX-2, but FFX would probably be my first true FF since I had to buy the previous to understand the sequel
Favorite FF game: FFXII
Which other FF games have you played?FFVII-XIII, Ivalice Alliance as well, partially played FFVI
Which FF fandoms are you now or have you been active in? FFVII, FFIX, FFX, FF12, slightly FF13

For authors - What story idea(s) do you have in mind? I wouldn't mind doing an Vayne/Ashe story- yes, stare at me like I'm crazy I can see the chemistry ;0; or rather my love of politics. I'd love to do a crossover between FF9 and FF12, I can see a lot of potential playing in that area but I'm not sure if others would like to see it. XD

I wouldn't mind tackling life after the end of FFXIII with a focus on Hope/Lightning or just Lightning or just the group as a whole. I could tackle something in the FFX area as well, I just haven't returned to it in a long time. FFIX would be the same but I've recently began replaying it.

Anything else you think we should know? This is my first big bang type challenge, I've always wanted to try one but I either miss out on the sign up deadline or someone claims a story before I can claim it as a back up author.

Yay, someone else who has played FF13! Hope/Lightning is one of my favorite pairings (which usually involve some combination of Hope, Lightning, Cid, and Snow), so I'm very excited if you do FF13. But Vayne/Ashe has its appeal, too, especially if there's politics! I can see chemistry, too. Dude, Vayne was hot. Don't let anyone tell you different. ;) Good luck!

It feels like FF12 all over again, it feels like that not many people played it or rather, not many people finished the poor game because one reason or another.

I barely got involved in fandom when FF12 came out, but I think you're right. I remember being amazed there was not more fic and activity. Now it's all over the place. I think video game fandoms might be slow burns. You have to let it grow up. Perhaps it will develop more by the end of the year. :D

I hope so and the same will probably be for FF13 near November/December/January I think activity will pick up due to the holiday season. O:

In the last round of FF Exchange, someone (which I could remember who) wrote an FFIX/XII crossover in which Beatrix was a Judge Magister. The crossover worked *beautifully*, and I for one would love to see more in that vein!

Although I'm not usually much of an enemy!shipper, I do see what you say about Vayne/Ashe, especially earlier in the game. Were you thinking AU?

I remember reading that! I was tempted to write something near those lines or something slightly opposite (lol, the mist continent literally being hidden in the mist in Ivalice like Giruvegan).

With Vayne/Ashe it would take place near the beginning, IMO the beginning could have gone many different ways especially when it comes to the treaty/forfeit her father signs. I have a lot of what if scenarios like if Ashe didn't spread the rumor/lie that she had committed suicide or if in the treaty it was signed that Ashe would marry a Judge or Vayne himself to ease the transition from free country to controlled city state.
