Oh, I find you delightfully refreshing! ^^ I can be pretty opinionated myself, and while I might have "popular" pairings listed among my favorites, I tend to like them in ways that aren't normally shown in fiction. Can't think of a prime example (although I do believe I was the first writer to seriously tackle Alistair/Zevran fics in Dragon Age), but I DO think of one, I'll share. XD

Of course, the fact that I tend to write slash, and graphic slash smut at that, turns most off of my work. Makes a lot of controversy of my own. *giggles a little* Can't help it. It's almost a compulsion. I think I just like the dynamics of the characters (e.g., Irvine/Zell), and their sex is almost always an afterthought. Oh well.
